The teleporters from RTB were EXTREMELY useful, can these be implemented into retail?

Hopefully they won't cross-teleport with other teleporters...

I think the Gateway + ID system was neat.

I think teleporters could be done right,  but with an actual good effect (AKA not RtB's).  Some cool effect circles the player (the particles from the printer would be cool), and you fade with a cool sound.

I'd rather see the effect be disassembly of the character, to consitiuent parts, dropped down the hole at the teleport site, and then pop back up the hole at the other teleport and reassembled :-D

That would require a whole new player model animation. And so far I haven't managed to even get Shaper to export ANY model properly.

That reminds me of a PS2 game..
Glitch..
It was fun, you would get to dissassemble yourself (you're playing a robot)
and than assemble yourself again.

Nice idea on tele, but doubt it will happen.

Oh, it would? I was just figuring you could take the pieces that make the minifig (hand, head, hat etc) and just drip them all to  the ground, like objects, and then into the hole.

Maybe instead of "dripping" make it so it looks like they just fell apart (kind of like when you destroy a baseplate on a build and the pieces just shatter down).

I also agree that a gateway+ID system would be nice.

Ephialtes and Nitramtj can do the player model thingies.

I think teleporters should have a dynamic effect, so you could set them to disassemble the teleportee into it's component parts, or turn the teleportee's body into a staticy sillouette for a few moments before rematerialization on the other side. (Play Marathon and you'll know what I mean.)

Or you could just fly/walk/crawl/etc to the location eaiser.

I'm making Nitramj make me teleporters. :D
