I would make more Gmod maps, but i'm not able to do ones like the ones you're suggesting, they are far too complicated for my skills, i was happy being able to somewhat recreate gm_construct and gm_flatgrass :(

Yeah, the starting plate is just one big rectangle with smaller rectangles surrounding the one in the middle

GM_bigcity could probably be done in the same way as GCF SA.  Just remove all curvy things/pointed stuff.
