Author Topic: GET THE forget DOWN! (You're leaving the battlefield)  (Read 1929 times)

Simple. When a player gets (distance) away from (brick/spawnsphere), they get (notification, GUI/Sound) that they are going too far.

When (farther distance) is reached, the player is (killed/tele'd).

Would be good for making wide, open TDM's without the possibility of players just walking out of the battlefield.

It'd be better if it was by a slash command.
The host would stand in the center of the area and type
/leavedistance 100
or something, the argument after the command would be a radius.

you could make some zones with events, or if it's in map terrain, use the zone bricks that are cubes

Reminds me of Armored Core... lol

Reminds me that this is a good idea.

Reminds me of that time that I wanted this and then did it with events and it all worked out well enough.

Guys, I think it will be possible with events. Does anyone know a possibly release date? I'm waiting so long for it! I bet it's going to be great :)

Make giant zone

onplayerleavezone > player > kill

Make giant zone

onplayerleavezone > player > kill

That just kills you, no comical sound effects/pop-up.

How would you add a message that says, "You're leaving the battlefield" like the OP wants?

And that solution would have it so that even if you re-entered the zone, you'd still die.
