I don't exactly hear ringing, but for me, if it's quiet, I here a type of buzzing(?) noises from all of the electronics around me. It gets quite annoying.  :c

Your hearing gets more sensitive when things are quiet , thats why you hear things you don't normally hear

True.

It's called tinnitus.

Stop listening to loud music or you will have it forever.

I have something like that. But I hardly ever listen to loud music. I do get this ringing randomly and get aches from it. So if it is random and you start to get aches, see your goddamn doctor.

When it's quiet, you can actually hear dust particles falling against skin in ear. I think I read it somewhere. :o

My ears keep ringing randomly. Hasn't happened today, but happened yesterday once and on wednesday 2-3 times.
I fear it will happen again. First it was my right ear, then it was both for the rest of the times. Usually lasted less than a minute.
Is this bad? Maybe I've just had too much ear strain sometimes?
I don't recall anything being very loud while it rang.
My mother has this permanently. Yesterday I started getting it to and I don't even listen to loud music. I'm worried I have it from my mothers genes. :c

Either that or THEY ARE COMING FOR US.

Stop listening to music through ear phones , Seriously you could go death if it gets worst
Well, the ringing started in the middle of class. No headphones, no loud noises, I was just talking then it rang for a few seconds and I covered my ears.
I guess I'll take off my earphones for now. I have those big head phones though, not the tiny ones that fit in your ear (those are bad for you)

I hope it's not as bad as you people make it out to be. I guess I'll see if it's worth a doctor's visit.
It has stopped ringing for two days. If it keeps ringing, I will post here again.
For now, discuss strawberries.

Reminds me of when i try to sleep.
It is SOOO quiet so my ears create a buzzing sound to fill it up, and even then my brain creates wacky sounds.
One time i was trying to sleep on the couch, and i heard my fridge open and slam very loudly. i was looking straight at it when i heard it open, but it wasn't. I hear screams, footsteps all the kind of crap.
It no longer scares the stuff out of me
