I have my eye on the german edition of tf2. Mostly becuase it has no blood and I love TF2 in BL and it looks sooo fun I really want it.

Team Fortress 2 doesn't have subtitles, at least, not in the English version...

if you put (nosound) in your name then subtitles work

He could use german proxy then. Even though buying through proxies is annoying and requires some IQ, but it's possible, I have done it on D2D. :p

I think that in the steam shortcut you can put a little code (-lv I think) to get the low-gore/goreless version. I know this exists for L4D but not sure about TF2
