Author Topic: you can turn hard-drive space into ram!  (Read 4427 times)

right click on my computer

hit proprieties
then click advanced system settings

go to the advanced tab and click performance
then in that tab go to advanced and under virtual memory click change
and you can change the amount of hard drive your computer uses as extra ram

i have about 3gb page file, without it i would get memory errors on some games

Somebody should make 1TB into RAM

then play the most laggy game in graphics.

Windows 7 Ultimate? Lies.
And why the forget do you have Windows Classic on?

You DO NOT want to use too much of your page file. It is only used for idle programs and for when you run out of real memory. The page file is extremely slow because your hard drive isn't that fast.

I have ultimate...
I have professional.
