I can host online, I just cant host dedicated?

Im able to host online with ease (Port fowarded btw) and people were able to join but now when I try running a dedicated server, I check online and I dont see it anywhere... Any way I can check or did Eric make it impossible to join a ded on the same computer?

You have to run Blockland's dedicated.bat at it's folder. The server is automatically configured as you set it in non-dedicated. Also, to leave the server running, your computer needs to be running. Otherwise, your server will be crashed.

right, thats exactly what I did with everything but it seems as if I cant find it.

The main issue is that when I try hosting my ded server, it dosnt appear on the server list :p

Mine was having this issue as well.

It's fixed by joining the server by IP, and that will make it appear on the list.
Type in 127.0.0.1:28000 for the IP

Also, I was looking at the .exe (The black box with codes, I forgot whats it called lol) and around the bottom it said "Authentication FAILED" Maybe thats the issue?

but right after that it says "Dedicated server now running"

Or, you could query LAN and join it that way. It should appear to others on the internet tab.

It's not an .exe, it's a .bat. And it's called Command Prompt.
Something seems wrong with your authentication with RTB? If it's not an error about authenticating with RTB, this might not be the issue, since you don't need RTB to host servers.

You just join once and it'll appear.

Your internet connection is probably too slow. Try getting a friend to try joining your server and, if your friend does not succeed, ask your friend how high your server's ping is. If your server's ping is above 150, you should be getting a better internet connection, or just try port fowarding.

If all else fails, check if your uPnP is enabled.

I know I can host cause if I host without ded I can support people, plus I port forward it and have comcast ultra speed... its probably the uPnP... Let me see if I can find it with my WRT310N router...

Ya, I have it on... Active... Now im confused...

I port forwarded my computer...
I can host and had people join me...
Im using "Ultra" comcast speed thus dial-up is not my issue...
my Upnp is "enabled"
I can join my own ded though idk if anyone else can join...
It dosnt appear in "Quary LAN"...

This sucks... I sorta dont wana run blockland windowed while I work on my other stuff :P
