Author Topic: Truce's SUPER CUL SALVAGE MODE  (Read 11239 times)

The mod creators want people to kiss their boots. (Yes they do...)
When their content is abusable and broken, they must fix it.

"Its just a game" additude would keep everything we ever played at some shiity early boring version.
If you want respect as an adon maker, then you are responsible for upkeeping it.
Well said.

Almost all mods are complete garbage. The creators have this dream what they think would be fun, but half ass it because they don't have the game-makers means of doing it properly.
When things are quickly repetative and abusable, they loose fun. Even the people doing the abuse get bored fast.

Popular =/= quality .Never in history has.

Oops, not anymore.

Bisjac, don't bother talking to otto. He's no different from Rookie and well, everyone knows to ignore Rookie.

Lol I got Tony to rage so much that at the point of seeing my name he instantly forgets what he was doing and trys to kill me.

oh

i'm sad now :(

I don't know if something happened that was at truce's as I haven't been there, but there hasn't been over 8 people there in a while. (few hours I think)

This reminds me of when that cigarette Jookia had a server where you could shoot off limbs and I would shoot off everyones weapon arm but not kill them, Self Delete was also disabled so there would be like 10-15 people hoping around hopelessly while I was the only one with a gun, was hilarious.

People have played a couple rounds through and got bored. It's a pretty repetitive gamemode so there's only so much entertainment you can get from it. I haven't even played it myself in a few days because of that reason unless I was checking to see if any bugs arose. Plus, I decided to switch it over to a bedroom save to try something different, and it's a bit more peaceful there so the players who only joined to build sky towers probably don't stick around.

Personally I don't think positioning has anything to do with it at all. Their should be some kind of balance that prevents a team from losing all their weapons. Like make one that nobody can take.

I say this because yesterday night I was with the group in the tower. Contrary to popular belief its actually harder than you would think. The tower overlooks a vast map with countless places to hide. Even under fire the ground team has places to hide. Yes I agree it is difficult to impossible to get up. But if the ground team doesn't attempt to get up and spreads out it is near impossible to keep them down.

Yesterday, like Chrono said, someone betrayed and threw all the tower's rockets down. But no matter, its the same thing the tower has been doing right? Wrong. When ground players spawn they spawn in building safely throughout the map. When tower players spawn they all spawn in one crowded and vulnerable room. Basically all the ground players, now in control of all 8 rocket launchers, spammed shots at the small tower. The second we spawned we were killed again, and again, and again. All the firing points were set up in different areas throughout the map so we could never regain enough control to even put up a fight.

Point is. Yes, some spots are abusive to ground. But some places are also abusive to the tower. Keep in mind the ground team has a vast area to run around in and avoid fire. But the tower team has nowhere to go or even spawn.

When I was playing, the sky base was a LARGE tower, not a small one.

No one was up there, nor were there any weapons. I just found it halarious.
