An assault rifle that was put on hold forever.

I'm just going make a list of it's features:
-Pretty much a G36 in a different case.
-Case is made of plastic, easy to reproduce.
-Able to fire up to 10,000 rounds before a jam.
Ideas for the add-on:
-Fast/medium fast rate of fire.
-10-30 Damage per shot.

Yndaaa modeled one, but I don't know if he'll ever make it into an add-on.

You see, the XM8 was a gutted G36, all of its internals were virtually the same, and even the exterior design looks a lot like a G36. It uses the same mags, and even has the exact same mag release switch. The problem was that it was made out of stuffty materials, and some craaaaaaazy stuff happened, like the gun melting. The project was never completed, it was put on hold like Duke Nukem Forever and eventually abandoned. Now, it's just the butt of gun jokes.
