German is too harsh. It sounds like some zombie trying to speak.

Nien, Deutsch ist sehr Prima.

That either says

No, German is better
Or No, German is very great

"No, German is very great."

I want to learn a language in my spare time. just for the hell of it. Learning to communicate with people who dont speak english is fascinating to me. So

it's a toss up between Mandarin Chinese
Or some form of Japanese.
Possibly, POSSIBLY, Italian. POSSIBLY.

You know what grinds my loving gears, when people quote family guy and go "hue hue I'm funneh guy because I quote and unfunny show"

German is good.

Although I'd recommend a more common language.
Spanish is very common.

It's like the most used one today.

Lear Old English and be on a more unique level of English.

Spanish and then afterwards French. Spanish is probably the most useful language for anyone living in the US to learn, french is very easy to learn if you already know how to speak Spanish. Chinese and Japanese are garbage languages for weeaboos that you'll never actually use. That said it's unlikely you'll use french very often unless you visit Canada (:barf:) or France.

Edit: In the end I doubt you'll attempt learning a foreign language at all, learning a foreign language in school is probably the class most kids hate (Including myself) so I'm almost positive you won't have too much fun teaching your self how to speak one.
