Scratch is a programming language that makes it easy to create your own interactive stories, animations, games, music, and art -- and share your creations on the web.
As young people create and share Scratch projects, they learn important mathematical and computational ideas, while also learning to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively.
tl;drScratch is an App for Windows,Mac,And Linux to Make anything you imagine(and make apps in Java).

Scratch is a poor substitute for an actual programming language that makes stuffty games.

Lies. It's not specifically made for games.

I learned about it in tech,

Feep is my name.

What's the language it uses look like?

This.

ewwwwwwwww
I need a clean workspace not some stuffty paint spill thing.

(And I'd rather work with hard code.)

This is a good program for younger people learning about programming for the future. Many people dont know how to code and you're disregarding it just because it uses basic language

Good point sorry.

had to use this in a computer course last year. personally (read: in my opinion) I think it's a poor excuse for a real programming language. I suppose it can help very inexperienced people get to know how things work, though.

Eh, I'll try this, downloading now.
