Author Topic: Should I Download Combat Arms?  (Read 523 times)

Hey. So, I was thinking about getting CA. I want to know if it will run, and if it's worth it.

Stats
Ram: 1.00 gb
Graphics: Intel 82945G Express Chipset(2000-03ish)
CPU: Intel Pentuim Dual CPU (2004ish)
2.20ghz

So, yes. I really like fps games like COD and CS. Is this worth my time downloading, or will it not run?

Thanks. :)

Well Combat Arms isn't that resource heavy but even with those specs you might only be able to run at low settings. Also why the hell do you have a dual core CPU with only one gig of ram?

I don't know. This is my parent's computer.

So, what FPS should I be expecting? Would it be playable?

I think you should be able to maintain over 30 fps at the minimum. My only concern is the video card. I would get a crappy old radeon at least and another stick of ram.

If you like COD and CS you can't compare it to Combat Arms due to it not being similar besides the fact that it's a FPS in the modern day era. You buy weapons and they expire over a period of time, and from what I remember, like most free fps games, money owns all making it unfair to anyone who doesn't spend at least $10 on it just for it to expire a month later.

Well, I can't upgrade. Should I get it with the stats I have?

I have no money. It's really just something for tonight.

played it before. sucked. you need to buy NX with real life money to get anywhere, and even then, the things you buy with it expire.

Oh.

I decided not to get it, FYI.

Thanks everybody.
