Remembering the USSR

Ive loaded a lot of the premade saves lately, and I've seen a lot of Soviet Union stuff on them. Can someone explain what it means? (I don't know if this should go under help or not, so don't flame me if it should)

USSR was an old clan that died I think in v8-v9

Well that defines a time in Blockland... why did they close anyhow? I never really understood.

USSR is a defining era of Blockland history.
It sounds like I'm making them bigger than they really were, but they were a pretty strong clan with only the best players as members, to get in was practically impossible and idiots kept begging for places even though they weren't anywhere near good enough.
Eventually most of the members began to go inactive and they weakened which led to the clans disbanding.

I'm fairly certain that's how it was, but I'm probably wrong

I'm so sad USSR and MotE are gone. I would have like to see what their building styles would have evolved into.

Black Lightning, you just don't understand... nobody could recreate USSR except the original members themselves. Besides that, I suck at building. USSR was and still is far beyond my level of building. Some of the stuff they made was amazing.
