anyone have a solution to this kids internet connection problem?
Or do I have to look it up and help him.

Mine had an unclear solution

Solution: Reconnect to your internet.

That's the best I can do, since all he said was he was tinkering with the computer when he came in and then he had no internet.

EDIT: I also say this because he can get on the computer though her mom's laptop.
Which means the internet still works. Obviously means he just isn't connected.

Or maybe he lied about the story, and just accidentally pressed F2, which disables internet. 

Not everybody has the same loving laptop you do.

The fn key isn't on all keyboards.

You're not running something like windows 98, are you?
Most of the new windows computers I've seen have a function key.

laptop keyboards
office keyboards
multimedia keyboards

not all computers have one of those.
and also i run vista64 not windows 98

I just realized i do :o but my dad turned on the internet again, and btw guys, my dad has been a computer engineer for 20-30 years i believe.
