What are "Wii Friend Codes"?

They allow you to communicate, share, and play with multiple people with Nintendo's Wi-Fi Play.

Why make a topic?

They are about 16 numbers, and people REALLY hate using them. Like I will remember it.

Why the forget do I have a Wii?

My family has been a Nintendo family for generations, my cousins actually have every console than the GameCube. Also, when it comes to console gaming, I am a casual gamer. PC gaming is where it's at for me.

Anything else that makes it special?

The shop channel allows people to Gift apps like WiiWare and Virtual Console. It's really nice too because the shop channel lets you enter the credit card info right into the Wii rather than a website frontend.

It also does Internet too :3

The very concept of "friend codes" makes me want to punt toddlers.

ikr.

I was very surprised when I looked at some random Wii forum, most of the people had their codes in their signatures.

Do you have to enter this EVERY time you want to communicate with someone?

I have a wii, I just haven't invested in it. (All I have is wii sports)

No you enter it once and then they are added to your friends. You have to do it once for each game though.
