Going to New York over winter break

I'm going to New York over winter break and will be staying in the city. I asked my parents if they'd let me meet a Blocklander or two while there and they hesitantly said yes (which surprised me because my parents are neurotic about this kind of thing). My parents set a limit of only two people that I can meet, unfortunately, but it's better than nothing. Additionally, they're not letting me go to your house to meet you. If we can meet, it will be in a restaurant in the city.

Regardless of the former, I'd still like some suggestions for things to do and see in the city.

tl;dr - I'm going to New York over winter break and if you'd like to meet me at a restaurant in NYC, post here and let me know.

EDIT: We're leaving for NY on the 18th, by the way.

NYC is only like an hour away from where I live... I could try and ask my parents, but we would probably be busy... And I hate NY... like really, I would go to Iraq before I went to New York :/

I'll be in NYC on the 19th for a photoshoot at the Spy+ Optics hq building. I'll only be there from 9am til 10pm at night, so we could try and meet up somewhere in Times Square, I go to nyc multiple times a year so I know the city fairly well.

Also, as a side note, nothing is final until we're in the city and we know our schedule, however I'll try my best to make some rough decisions beforehand, but they'll be subject to change.
