Neither have you.
I'm not saying marriage is a necessity though, and I already said why it's silly to think so.

If you think two people should be married when raising a child whatever, that's not what I'm arguing against. You say it is a necessity which means a child cannot be raised as a functioning member of society without married parents.

my whole thought is that all marriage for anyone is unneeded.

in the modern world, the only difference marriage makes is:
1 bank accounts
2 insurance
3 taxes
4 cant be forced to testify against spouse

-pretty much removing everything religiously involved lol

other then that its a bunch of bullstuff that is misleading to a successful life. be it for themselves or their kids.

BUT WITH A MARRIAGE YOU HAVE IT ON PAPER THAT YOU AND YOUR PARTNER ARE BOUND FOR LIFE TIMEMEEEE

Just a question; How do you measure a "successful life"

A successful life is measured in the entrepreneur  system. The units are money and bitches.

BUT WITH A MARRIAGE YOU HAVE IT ON PAPER THAT YOU AND YOUR PARTNER ARE BOUND FOR LIFE TIMEMEEEE

pretty much lol.

back then it was a contract created by religion. to control the ownership of woman.
the major religions all did the polygamy thing, and it was just a sign of power and wealth.

now that woman are equals in nearly every way in society. coincidentally marriages arent working out anymore.
the myth of what marriages were told should be, are exposed as the broken system they really are.

modern society dont support the marriage system anymore. im not debating if this is good or not, thats against the whole point.

just tradition;

1 get married young
2 get into a home dept
3 make babies
4 raise your kids to burden themselves into taking care of you when you are old, and have them repeat the whole cycle.

if you do these things well. then you lived a proper life lol.

its all bullstuff. thank god society broke that system.

I'm not asking about society nor about what it was or how some people measure. Just you. On a personal level. What do you think makes you successful in life.

I think it's wrong for two reasons. First and foremost, it's against my beliefs. Secondly, a family's primary function in society is to reproduce. Without that, families wouldn't exist and societies would die out.

well i think every person should make their own goals based on what they would want out of life. the problem is everyone learns from really young age from parents what they "should" be doing and distorts their life.

i set out to make money. its all i wanted. i dont want a family i dont want kids. i dont want to live in a house in some subberb. i dont want a 40hour a week job.
my goals were to be to create a life out of that. so i did. and i consider myself extremely successful.

however many people could look at my life and tell me im incomplete lol. its happened many times now. because they dont think that life is how normal people should be living.
the real trick to success is to get the hell out of the loop and create your own "success" goal. because the traditional one has failed every last person during the last 4 generations and playing a broken system will only slow you down.

I'm against it simply because I don't like gay people.
