Author Topic: Them hackers be stopin Cells  (Read 1089 times)

So today, some time after noon, a guy in Europe tried to hack the banks several nearby counties.

However, instead of getting into some dudes bank account, he turned off every Cell Phone, Cash Register and ATM in the region.

How he turned off cell phones, I dont know, but somehow he did.

wat is dis

I should think that impossible, but holy stuff.

Im guessing the Turning off of the Cash Registers and ATMs was a Failsafe, but the phones I dont get

I'm guessing this isn't from a reliable news source

Until I see otherwise

I am now convinced Anonymous did it, since they crashed Master Card and Visa websites also

The person is pulling down websites too.

Did he turn off the phones themselves or take the towers offline? Either way, whoa.

How many news networks have reported it?

The actual process of turning off individual cell phones is incredibly difficult unless the wireless infrastructure the companies use has some apocalypse feature built in. On the other hand, turning off cell towers is a piece of cake for the above-average hacker. Problem is, the cell provider companies find out about it really fast.
