Why was I banned?

I was just told that I was banned for 'joining and leaving often'.  Is it my fault that I crash?  The admin who did this was Jacobian123

I don't know what it is that my minecraft does.  The screen will randomly go black.  It must be some problem with my client, but I've tried redownloading and it doesn't work.  I'll try playing in the browser, but I don't have high hopes.  Jacobian123, could you give me at least a warning next time?  It's kinda frustrating when you keep crashing or lagging out, and someone bans you for that while you try to fix it.

Probably some bug in this version.

I get that as well, I just use the browser client now and it doesn't happen.

So far with the browser it's been working.  I'm still lagging to hell though.  And the server was working fine a couple of hours ago.
