Creativity seems to be dead. I'll cross-post this (Oh, no!) and make it a general Pepakura thread.

Pepakura (Japanese for "papercraft") is a program that is used to break down 3d models into fold-able shapes. These shapes create a paper model that is (depending on skill) a replica of the 3d model. The model is then typically hardened, coated, sanded, and painted to specifications.

Here's my first attempt

Progress so far:

It's card stock super-glued together. It will be completely finished with resin and bondo. I also plan to use servos for the opening/closing face mask and LEDs to light the eyes.

I'll totally wear this in public.

Does anyone else do anything like this?

forget yes that stuffs awesome.

I've really really wanted to do stuff like this, but don't you need a printer than prints flat out?
I don't have one...

Are you gonna put fiberglass reinforcements on it and stuff when you're done? Cuz' damn, that's awesome.
Why are you so damn awesome Bones? First the Titanic, now this! (And everything in between)

I've made a small triforce and ? block.

This is awesome, Bones. Can't wait to see it finished!

Because doing a Google search for Pepakura is hard.

so does that mean you made the 3d model as well? or you found one somewhere.
