In my science class, we work in 'lab groups', which is basically a group of four people sitting at each long table. Today, we were discussing plate tectonics in our groups. I mentioned something about the Eurasian plate, and everyone started laughing (not the good part). So this starfish across from me tries to diss me by saying loudly "You're asian" and pointing at me (I'm German, so this makes no sense). In response, I sarcastically said "You know what? I love you. Expect a valentine's day card." Mr. starfish's face was flushed bright red, and everyone started laughing till they cried, literally rolling on the floor laughing. I thought "Well stuff, that was just one of my normal sarcastic remarks. How is that hilarious?". After class in the hall, people in my science class came up to me, shaking my hand, hugging me (girls by the way, or else it would be gay :/ ), and all that stuff. Now, I'm practically a hero just because of one sarcastic remark. This stuff's weird.
