Author Topic: My computer is geting clean.  (Read 775 times)

I got TF2 a while back and it lagged so freaking much, I have been playing under extreme lag which sucks majorly and the graphics look like baby puke.  I asked my gf's Dad if he approve of this graphics card, I thought it would reduce my lag but he said that it would do nothing, and to check my connection speed, I tested it and it sucked so I found this error thing on the same site that is cleaning out my computer.  I just cehcked it and my computer has 1229 errors on it, some things have been deleted but still remain, some are defective, some are just plain gay, I am going to make sure that none of them I need to keep. I hope this works, if not I will be driven mad.  P.S. What do video cards do?

video is something to do with videos and games, you'll still need one.

Your computer was doing drugs?

video cards enchance the graphic capabilities of your video games.
you RAM and processor are very critical parts in it too.
you also need to lern2cleanHDDbutton

I think I jus put in two new RAM cards a few months ago, so do video cards reduce lag?

I have been searching and asking, so far everyone just says that all they do is support graphics and I always say well if they support graphics then there would be no point in them considering computers already do that.  Then I asked about directx10 and all they say is that it supports graphics but if directx just supports graphics then there is no point in getting directx 10, and the same person who answered these questions said prev. that directx and nvidia support high graphics games and reduce lag but now he is saying that they don't.  I think he might be jealous.....

Every componant plays a crucial part. The video card allows video to be streamed from the computer to the monitor.

Ram is Random Access Memory, which is required to have programs running at a certain speed.

Cpu/processor is what allows processes to run.

Your network/internet could play a crucial part in your lag, if your speeds aren't good, youll probs lag.

Hope I helped.

I think I got most of that.  my connection speed is probably the main part of my lag I have road runner but bright house is now advertising RR lightning but my Mom won't get it.  My friend has RRL and plays TF2 in high graphics without one single burst of lag.  I own on TF2 without lag but now my stats are going down the drain.....

Post the specs of your computer and I'll tell you if your computer is the problem, or your network.

Internet connection doesn't really have anything to do with what settings you play on.

So, I can play TF2 on high graphics with the same ammount of lag that I currently have.

Specs?  I just took the speed test but I will take it again to tell you what it is.

Yea, if you had a better graphics card + the same internet connection. But that's if the connection is to blame.

Ok so here is what my comp. is like:

ping: 88 MS

DL speed:  22.15 MB/S

Upload Speed:  1.36 MB/S

Directx 9.0

Connection:  Cable

Road runner standard or turbo.

Anything else and I will try and find it.

Ok so if my connection sucks then what if I upgrade to road runner lighting and get a new graphics card?  Or just either one?
