Author Topic: Defend the vehicle  (Read 910 times)

Type 1:players on one team must defend for (amount here) minuits while keeping it in tact. the other team. Can be in or out of vehicle.

Type 2: players on one team need to get in the vehicle within 10 seconds and defend it in it. (vehicle stays still)

Type 3: players on one team must get in the vehicle within 10 seconds and drive it to a certain spot.

Note: vehicle MUST be in tact.

Lots of vehicles are weak and can be destroyed easily.
Also this could be done with events.


Could be interesting, but I think it can be done with events, and the engine is not made for vehicles.
Would love to see this in Gmod thought.
In Blockland it would suck hard.

Hoard:

This gamemode works sorta like CTF, except you have to collect a number of objectives and deliver them to the "collection bin" somewhere in your base or in the build somewhere, the objectives act as items and you can carry any number of objectives depending on how many slots you have free in your inventory.  (Maybe a special playertype for this)  You take them to your base, and store them there.  You may steal back captured objectives (if this option is enabled).  Two ways to win: 

•The team who has collected all the objectives first.
•The team who has collected the most objectives in a time limit.
The objectives must be recovered by physically bringing them back to the base, not recovering them instantly in a CTF.

Ambush:

The teams must ambush/sabotage any number of designated targets, specified by either special spawns or by events.  It could work as an attack/defense or by complete domination.  The targeted objects could be players or vehicles.  Three ways to win:

•The team who has destroyed more targets in the time limit.
•The team who has destroyed all the targets of the other team.
•The teamwho has gotten all targets safely to a checkpoint or "safe zone"
This would be ideal for the idea of sabotaging a convoy of enemy vehicles.

The point of the second one was that it was a convoy attack, semilar to your idea, but I believe we needed more detail.

This just gave me an idea. What if, two teams, red and blue, have giant space ships(not actual addons, just builds) and they have to use air vehicles to get onto the enemy ship, get in, and kill players or sentries that defend the ship. Then, find the core and destroy it. When destroyed, you have 2 minutes to find a way out before you get blown up. When the enemy ship is destroyed, boom points points points and you win the game

This just gave me an idea.
