Author Topic: Output Event: BotMountToObject  (Read 2159 times)

Well, I've seen the threads here (RAWKET LAWNCHAIR) and they're basically crap, and I have a request that is not completely ridiculous and handicapped.
Without much further ado, this basically makes things like onActivate -> Self -> BotMountToObject. That would mount the bot to you.
And lots of things can be done, like bot construction projects that won't be host-only.
Is this a stuffpost or does this have some bang for the time put into it?

There's a mountplayertoobject, If you change the target to Bot it may work, but I don't know where to get the event.

That's not what I mean. I mean if you activate a bot spawn with the event onActivate -> Bot -> MountToObject (0) or onActivate -> Self -> BotMountToObject (0), then there'll be a bot mounted to your hand. Get it? And the (0) is the node number.

I just don't quite understand how this would be useful...having a random bot on your hand doing nothing sounds more annoying than useful.

Not to defy the principle of the OP, but a Rocket Lawnchair might be interesting. Old guy sitting in his lawn, not doing much. SUDDENLY, rockets come out of his chair and he goes into space.

Ontopic: This might be interesting, but there aren't a whole lot of things brick or person-related which would be of value to mount to. Unless they mount to whatever vehicle is on a vehicle spawn.

Yeah, they wouldn't be items, but also, what I'm thinking of is mounting an invisible bike with a weapon to your hand. Along the lines of that.
