I fixed my laptop. . . by breaking it more.

It's been pissing me off because it cant run WoW, so i thought maybe some compressed air would cool it down every now and then.
First shot at the fans, came out as liquid. my loving fans nearly caught in fire, started smoking and died.

Now I don't overheat at all, even though now my fans are COMPLETELY dead.

Yeah, apparently it turned into compressed liquid or something. its that liquid that causes frostbite

Listen to me.  It won't overheat, because it is currently melting the processor and videocard and all the other important stuff in there.

It might last you another 10 or 20 minutes before eating stuff.  I would stop now and replace the fan.

I learned about this at school, simply keep it cool and don't spray it continuously, do short bursts of dust off. If the slightest bit of liquid comes out, stop imeadiately and let it cool again. Then continue applying spray.

Buy a very bad laptop as a replacement. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834200078

That one has almost the same specs as this except this has more hard drive and is a vista. This one can also play WoW demo perfectly fine at about 25FPS I would say? Not the greatest but still a great deal to be able to play.
