It wouldn't be that difficult to make, it'd just be tedious. Probably like 30-40 work hours. The actual motion sensor and motor system would be easy as balls. I bet the rotation thing is just a motor and 3 gears. The light would be simple to work with the motion sensor module.

I've seen videos of functional sentries people have made in their garages. Some of them have a little lag between sensing motion and responding, but do ultimately do their purpose of riddling stuff with lead.
