Not sure whether or not this would exactly be considered a request, considering I'm planning to try and make it. Rather, I'm throwing it out there for other (more experienced) scripters to add ideas and/or make for themselves.
Anywhoo,
These are add-ons that would make Blockland become slightly more realistic, add gameplay elements, and create a more generalized set of mods instead of leave people floundering in the sea of RP's and Mods.
A more civilized mod for a more civilized age, I guess.
MONEY MOD- A system of money reminiscent of "studs" from Lego games
- Bricks (which look like troughs) which can hold money indefinitely (and which can show the money held within if so desired)
- Bags of money which are carried by the player (to store money)
- Money models which can be made to spill out of enemies
- When picked up, money is stored in money bag
- Money generators generate money at a set rate. One generator brick for each type of money.
- Administrators can grant money and set start amount for each player
So far, I'm going to modify and add to the values from Lego "studs".
GREY/SILVER STUDS: 10¢
YELLOW/GOLD STUDS: $1.00
GREEN/EMERALD STUDS: $10.00
BLUE/DIAMOND STUDS: $20.00
RED/RUBY STUDS: $50.00
PURPLE/AMETHYST STUDS: $100.00
*All values USD.
This would work well for Cops and Robbers, because there would be ACTUAL moneybags and places to put them.
Also, there would be an unseen currency with a Credit Card which holds your monies. ATM bricks can be used to deposit/withdrawl, and the currency would be added to the bank's studs.
Maybe there could be an option which makes bricks cost money somewhat like in RP Money or, perhaps, the real world.
COOKING MOD- "Stove" bricks which can be activated by a Spatula tool
- Spatula tool brings up list of items, their cook times, and their healing values
- Foods heal people slightly, and the harder it is to make, the more "healthy"
- A Plate (or something like one) where food can be transferred after cooked
- Food can be burnt and loses some healing values (or can go negative)
- A "Counter" brick which is used to make non-cookable food (with "Cooking Knife" tool)
- Non-cookable food (Chips, PB&J) has significantly less health benefits
- Food can be eaten by using a "Fork and Knife" tool
The items, as said, would heal you after eating them. Dessert items (as well as junk food) will heal you a lot and bring your health back down slowly. Others will increase health over time (Protein?) These items are marked with an asterisk: *
Here are some general health values:
CHIPS: +10 health *down to ±0
SANDWICH (PB&J/Ham/Tuna): +9 health per sandwich
OREOS (or other cookie): +15 health *down to ±0
HAMBURGER: +15 health *down to +8 health
SANDWICH (Grilled Cheese, Panini): +15 health
MAC & CHEESE: +10 health *Up to +19 health
MEATLOAF/LASAGNA: +20 health *Up to +22 health
PIZZA: +20 health *Down to +13 health
CAKE SLICE: +15 health *Down to +11 health
FISH (Salmon, Catfish, Etc.): +26 health
SOUP (Chicken, Tomato, Clam Chowder): +15 health *Up to +25
And so on. It's pretty easy to rate their cook times and difficulty.
With these two mods, we could establish fine eateries, with unique recipes (Possibly written down on a Recipe Card tool which adds to spatula list?), which you must pay for. Possibly, even a Blockland food market could arise, and a Blockland economy. My goal here is to make it universal so that anyone can use it without unseen codes and things used. That Noobs and Pros can use it the same.
Add your ideas, discuss what you think about them.
Share and Enjoy!
