The first WTC were taller then the Empire State Building..

I don't find anything unique about this building besides its height.  Such as the Twin Towers, they were two towers that looked similar, that caught the eye easily and was remembered.  This is like tossing another structure into the sea of concrete.

Empire state building- 1,225 feet if I recall correctly.
1,225 feet- not that tall in modern times.

Also, I enjoyed the stark, staring beauty of the old World Trade Center towers. Someone once said that they were great buildings, but not great architecture. I disagree- I feel like there was a simple elegance in their being the tallest building in the world but little more than gray boxes. I am truly disappointed I was never able to see them.
