Author Topic: Map - Pandora. (It's not about liking Avatar- it's got an interesting design.)  (Read 7138 times)

ToB made one of these maps.

Just port it.
Link?
It wouldn't look good at all. Mainly because of blockland's lack of advanced lighting. The trees won't make the forest dark, everything will be lit on all sides, it would look horrible in blockland.
:c

To get best results, I suggest building it. The only thing I found that comes close to what you want is this.

Tried building it.
Getting close to lag.

The point is, it can't be done well or even done okay with the technology that we're working with.

I think it could. Don't make it look like land. Make it look like floaty bricks. Have it like the Worlds's Map like the Asteriods. Just scatter them over a groud brick

I think it could.
It really can't. If you're talking about a build, then sure, but otherwise no way. Rky is right.

we haven't even tried yet and we are already coming to conclusions
what

just make floating islands and some waher here and there and that'll be good

we haven't even tried yet and we are already coming to conclusions
what
Yeah, but that's like saying that we haven't tried to explode things by thinking about them exploding yet, so we can't say that it's impossible.

Have you ever seen the Worlds map?

Far far simpler than what is being asked. And yes I know what you mean. Yes, that thing that you said earlier. I am well informed. That is what I am referring to as being asked.
That is to say, if your next post is a re-explanation of your 'solution' from earlier I'm going to snap and start stabbing people.

Lol. If I was any good at Mission Editor, I'd find some sort of nice looking map with a forest, then drop the asteroids in there. If they want waterfalls, they can put in bricks and events on their own.

That being said, why is it I've never seen a fakekilled brick waterfall?

SOMEBODY just press cmd-M/F11.
