your factory was within reach of the dock, so your truck thing was useless.  Also, thank comcast for the connection drop :/

passengers/stuff earn more money depending on the distance they travel. and even more is earned depending how fast they got there. and even MORE is earned if they were more efficient (meaning less is lost while things wait at a station)

i use to have a circle of track around the world. where trains would pick up from one place, to "drop off" (not deliver) to another station. while more trains pick those up to continually drop off at further stations.

till 20 stations later you have like a million people awaiting to hit the final train station. where most of them traveled 20-70% across the length of the map.
a single full load can earn you $1.5million, and can be delivered every 6 seconds with a large enough track system.

but stuff like that takes a very experienced track builder. you need a double 1-way track system in all directions, with tons of proper signals. you need to be able to have trains pulling in and out of every station at like 50 per minute without waiting.

trying to connect, but it keeps on stopping downloading the map part way through

@Bisjac
Sounds complicated but worth it.
I generally mess up multitracks.

Back on the original Transport Tycoon Deluxe (Which I still have, but it's DOS, so it doesn't work), there's a desert preset scenario with really big and complicated railways.

EDIT: Single player is easy for moneyz...3.1b in 2 hours =D

thats a handicapped idea.  stop being lazy and forward your ports

also, hosting a new game, unless anyone has any objections

Had like 7 people on my hamachi and they were amazed how it is completely lag-free, hamachi seems to work better than hosting via internet. Also port-forwarding is not always possible, I can port forward in 3 seconds flat but it won't work on my internet anymore, it used to, but the ISP changed how it works and we would have to pay a lot more to be able to do it. I currently have 14 people on my hamachi even though I have no servers up.

This is a game originally from the 90's.  It's not going to lag over the internet.

Anyways I'm hosting right now so no one has to use hamachi to host.

I started a new game to give everyone a fair chance, because prices were ridiculous that far along.

Again, none of that applies because I'm hosting this very second.

At first I thought this had to do with driver software and shtuff.
