Far Cry 2: Frustration Simulator?

I got this game today, and Im pissed. Nothing is clear.

Where are the "faction buildings"? No doors work. What does it look like on the map? Jeorge said it looked like a question mark, but there are none to be found.

Where are the diamonds? My locator is about as useful as toilet paper. No matter how hard I look, it never turns on, there are no diamonds to be found anywhere except rooster fights.

Where is the arms dealer? No matter how hard I look, or when I get up, he is never there.

Diamonds are somewhat rare, your GPS isn't going to light up all the time.

The Arms Dealer disappears until more of his missions are available, Use the PC to buy stuff.

The only thing that frustrated me was the areas at the begining. You can't do stuff since everywhere is covered by the infection and you don't have pills

How can it be hard to search a 10ft by 10ft shack? The game must be loving glitched or something. There is no possible way it could be so hard.

If you use the diamond indicator properly, and you're sure the diamond is within the vicinity of the shack, check the roof.

It's piss easy.

The light blinks when there's a diamond near.
It blinks faster when your closer to it.
It doesn't blink but is still on when you're looking toward the diamond.

there are about 2 diamond cases (one in north map and one in the south map) that you have to use a hang glider to get to it
