Author Topic: New Graphics Card, how does it compare to my current one?  (Read 440 times)

Today I opened up[ an ATI 4650 HD 1 gb vram graphics card. I asked my mom for a gtx 460, but she thinks they are all the same and went with a lower end one. I just have a question, how does it compare with my current card, an EVGA geforce 9800gt? I know the 9800 GT will probably be better, though. Note I just want to compare it.

The 9800GT is a lot better than the 4650.

Okay, that's what I thought. My mom can be gullible at times. The best buy man said it was the same thing to her.

4850 HD is about the same, 8650 no way.

let this be a lesson to you, don't EVER let your mom buy graphic cards.

I realize this now.
