Author Topic: Kaphost Blockland Servers  (Read 654477 times)

I have no idea, but Windows is a piece of stuff.

An error similar to a full connection stack, except there were only 91 connections...

I didn't see any Blockland crashes which is good.

My EVAL is not executing properly, both the add-on and the Java remote client.

I hate the recent change.

This change definitely makes an online add-on manager more important, but for now everyone has the file "Server_EnableAllAddons.zip" in the screenshots directory as a temporary fix.

Add the following to the bottom of config/server/prefs/ADD_ON_LIST.cs to enable this enable all add-on:
$AddOn__Server_EnableAllAddons = 1;
Typing quit(); in the server's console will write out the entire list of installed add-ons to config/server/prefs/ADD_ON_LIST.cs. Useful for disabling certain add-ons.

Easier to move add-ons into another folder (like "Add-ons/disabled") to disable them.

At least the Remote Client will not connect to EVAL.

My EVAL still doesn't work at all.

It wasn't even enabled. I've done this for you.

It wasn't? How was it not enabled?

config/server/ADD_ON_LIST.cs:
$AddOn__System_BlocklandCloud = -1;

config/server/ADD_ON_LIST.cs:
$AddOn__System_BlocklandCloud = -1;
Why is it -1?

That means it's disabled.

That means it's disabled.
Oh I thought you were telling him how to fix it...

Here are my priorities:
1. New server manager for me
2. Server email alerts (after collecting everyone's mail address)
3. Kaphost stuff
De-prioritized the server manager because I'll do it later.

Next is email alerts, which after getting all your e-mails will be done, and then Kaphost stuff (website).

Tomorrow morning I will work on forcing eval and the log writer to be enabled (copy a file into base/main.cs, back up main.cs.dso, and then the file will execute the temporarily moved main.cs.dso)

Probably, if memory is OK.

I don't know why you posted this here.

Many years of experience has taught me that telling customers the problem when there is a problem makes them a lot happier than just telling them you have fixed it.
