I just viewed this post and seen the progress, this looks awesome! I would like to build a car my self, ill be there now!  :cookie:  :cookie: =3

Lol. I see Demitri [Louis SOF] in the first pic.

There's a new member to the family: the open hopper!

Once I add a few of these to the consist, I will have everything I need to complete up to the final two cars of the runaway's consist. I will make the addition at the consist at the top of the hour, approximately a half hour after this posting. Come watch if you please! A link to my server is at the bottom of the second post of this thread.

23 out of 25 cars, that is, 25 out of 27 units of the train, are now placed. All that remains now is a yet-to-be-completed box car and a covered hopper identical to the first car on the train!

The consist is already at the point where you can't see one end of it from the other, and it's not even done yet!

Here you can see the new open hoppers fully incorporated into the consist:

And here is Shadow 5435 dressed as the film's Frank Barnes, showing a gap which proves rather important to the plot of the film:

Seeing all of this makes me want to watch the movie. :C

Saw the movie, 7 pages later. Very accurate, and detailed, but I would have liked to help :C

The Murrigan box car, the final car that needed to be constructed, is complete! Here is an image of the car's side:

Here is the end of the car with the emergency brake:

I pulled off a curious effect with the section of the logo on the door. Here you can see it up close:

I will be adding this to the consist at the bottom of the hour, approximately 35 minutes from posting this message. Attend my server if you want to see the event, and/or get your picture with what will be the completed train!

The consist to AWVR 777 is officially finished!

To start with, here is Caution reenacting, in part, a key scene from the film:

Overall, this is how the train now looks:

Now for some cool angles of it:

Fun Fact: The train, from the end of the front knuckle to the end of the rear one, is 1,720 studs long! That's 0.325757576, or, to be exact, 43/132, of a scale mile long! That's roughly a third.

Feedback and ratings are always appreciated!

The car I built more closely resembles a modified version of my covered hopper. I made it from scratch adjacent to your car, and finished it in two days.

For the lulz: All building done by me, text inserted by Krystal:

Personally, I find it fitting for the way the train acts during the film.
