Direction isn't perceptive, it's subjective, there's an important difference, perceptive would mean the thing in question is different to each person because of what they think, subjective means it could be different for different people, but not because of what they think. Up, as far as I would know, refers to the outward direction from the closest center of gravity.

Yes it can. Gravity is made by mass you will be attracted to the object with the most mass and gravity. Which is the Earth and the Earth is round. You stand on your feet so if you walk on a sphere it will cause you to be upside down but you will still be standing up due to gravity.
