I'm pretty sure you can forget it up and make it not work by deleting parts of the .exe at random. He won't know the difference when it stops working even though it's there.

It might be a hardware key logger as well. Check the USB cable on your keyboard.

You could probably run anti-virus software or something of the like that might look for a key logging program, unless he white listed it.
