I've been trying out new colouring techniques and I could use some feedback on what I can do to get better, since I fail at colouring.

Don't base anything off the drawing; I only need opinions on the colours and such. And I don't want to hear that "Hah, Anime" stuff.

If this is too small to tell anything, I could draw a larger example using the same techniques.

And before anyone asks, she's a barber.

I might've fixed the right arm. I think what I had thought was that her arm was extending backwards causing the upper arm to block light from the lower, but I might've failed at that.

Does it still look off or is there anything else?

It looks like a stub arm. You should try making it longer.

Not asking about anatomy, mate. I'm already aware that anatomy is off, but that's an issue that I have been working on for years and don't need any feedback on.

Anyways, I wasn't trying for anatomy and just drew this up quick so I could colour something, which is the reason why I asked above not to base any judgment on the drawing.

Good job once again LoLbert, I like the coloring but the supposed shine on the hair does not speak to me properly for some reason.

I'm also trying to learn to draw anime/manga/whatever but I'm having a difficult time grasping it.

I also see you are practicing at your hands more :o

That kid is skinny as forget. Draw some food in her hands. Then make another drawing of her eating the food.
