Author Topic: Anyone else working the stock market?  (Read 603 times)

Hey guys, so I've been addicted to the stock market recently(recently being the past year), I haven't been making much money, but that's they best part, I've only made money. I sold some of my AMD shares today, and I just bought some Intel shares since they're down a few points, but it should pick up with the new technology they're releasing. I'm going to buy a few Apple shares tomorrow.

The main reason I'm starting this thread is to discuss your strategies on how you work your way around the stock market, your history with certain companies, your advice on what companies to not invest in, any information you have about companies that other members are invested in so as they could either sell or buy more.

Anyway, discuss!

My uncle has GM stocks from when it was crashing, bought them for dirt cheap, and then sold.

I think it was GM..

Might have been Ford though because that number seems about right.

Curse my memory e_e

actually i might begin stock market when i get ACTUAL cash

Is that where you buy cars for NASCAR?

You don't need much money. I have 2 bank accounts, 1 for the stock market, 1 for personal use.

The stock market one always has at least 50$ in it, which is more than enough of an investment for me. I started off by buying 2 AMD stocks for 14.50$ like 6 months ago, that was the most expensive stock I bought then, I sold them for 17.85$ a few weeks later, price went down, bought 2 more, sold for I think 22.50$ and yeah. The stock market is painfully easy, you just need to read about the company, a lot. I am subscribed to 13 AMD news update feeds constantly streaming, 3 apple feeds, 2 intel feeds and 7 nVidia feeds.

AMD is my main investment. Thing I'm most proud of because its how I started. :)
