So im wondering what programs you would use to make logos?

Adobe Photoshop

Gimp, Photoshop, or ask someone on the forums to do it, we eat this stuff up.

You could also get really creative and get a vector program like Adobe Illustrator and draw it by hand.

I drew this in adobe illustrator but I based it off some image I found on google.

It's a pretty amazing program.

GIMP has logo-making functions built in already.

Inkscape allows the user to do a lot for this sort of program.. i like that. plus, it's not OS specific.
