Hunger Games Mod

So I was reading this series called the Hunger Games and was thinking about a game mode based on that. If you haven't read the books don't post random stuff please. So it would be like a DM only you would have a hunger thing added!

Ok fine here is the premise:
-players spawn in the middle of a giant field
-in the middle is a pile of weapons
-you fight to the death
-there is a hunger mod so that if you run away and hide in the woods you will eventuly starve
-you could buy health and food packs will your points you earned killing other players

So how often would people need to eat? Too often, and it becomes a hassle, not often enough, and it becomes any regular tdm.
Also, where would people "buy" this stuff from, the magical shop conveniently placed in the center of the map? Some silly slash command?

Dosn't really seem like a huge change in gameplay from a regular (T)DM.

Heres more coolio version

starter--
It is set in the future and there is the Capital and
the villagers. The Capital are very strong power wise and they
laugh at the fact of racCIAm death etc etc. The villagers and much
kinder then the Capital giving comfort to other people and are very nice

people--
Katniss/ Girl brown hair young
Petar/ Boy blond hair young
petal or something like that/ young girl

1--
Every year, the capital have a thing called the "reaping"
where every villager puts their name in a bowl and one
is chosen by random the rwaping starts when you are 12 and
ends when you are 18. Pne boy and one girl is chosen from the bowl
and they must compete in a last man standing game.
Oh yea by the way there are 12 states in the villagers area
so 12 times 2 :24: people get picked

2--
katnis and petar get chosen. Have a life
of heaven before going into jungle and stuff

3--
go into jungle fight and stuff of course katniss
and petar win and they come home but the capital are
angry at them because they mocked them in many ways

there. (sorry i would of done more but im on my Ipod so yea.)

I could make this, you would only need to use events. Not a whole mod. I've only read the first book... So I don't know if it's right.

- Events pick and teleport two random people to go to the Reaping from each state.
- Events make other players teleport to watch in the stadium.
- ???
- Profit.

Mod the hunger mod with LL Food pack, and then throw it into a deathmatch.

Oh and in the middle there is a giant golden horn in the middle called the Cornicopia.
The cornicopia is filled with a bunch of weapons.

Make a TDM with two people per team, with friendly fire on, make a map, build and event a Cornucopia, add in the hunger mod or something, etc.

There's no need for a complex mod for this.

The game is actually supposed to be a last person standing, but Katniss + Peeta make fun of the Empire or whatever by threatening to double Self Delete.

Also, use some form of the Stranded mod? You would already have a GUI for food and such.
