Author Topic: Corner doors (JVS)  (Read 737 times)

So, this is something I've been trying to figure out for a while, are corner door bricks possible? I mean, I don't see why not, if wedge bricks are possible/corner bricks, then why wouldn't corner doors be possible? I'm attaching an image for what I want for those who don't understand my description;

Well the door wouldn't be 4x1x5 it would have to be wider, like 4x3x5 but yes it's possible i'm guessing.

I figured so much since you'd have to incorporate the swing of the door in the actual brick size.

Do you have any clue as to how to go about doing this?

This is a guess, but I think you can do this by opening the desired JVS content pack and modifying the model for on of the doors.

You'd just turn the same model on a 45º angle.  Then, edit the script so the brick is larger.  I think it'd be a 4x4x5 brick.  I can make it if you want.

Uh, why? I can't think of a JVS door that doesn't open outside of its brick size.

This could be possible.
And I have a feeling that you wouldn't need a 4x4x5 or 4x3x5 brick, but some sort of special brick.

All you'd have to do is make the model diagonally and figure out how big the box should be.

Because it'd have to work like the wedge bricks, where you cant use the 1/2 brick space left over.
