if you "just loving suck", maybe you ought to be honing your skill instead of dishing out advice. your activity is the same as a grammar national socialist at this point. you're asserting yourself based on knowledge that is arguably true, but you're doing it too frequently and applying it to minor things, like sketches. instead of imparting helpful advice, you're nitpicking, and that really doesn't help in the long run
Uh, I wasn't saying I suck, I was saying you were implying I suck because I don't post art very often
"Doing it too frequently" so there are suddenly guidelines as to how often I'm allowed to give advice and provide critique?
"Applying it to minor things, like sketches" so suddenly the fact that something is a sketch means it shouldn't be held up to the same standards of quality as other works?
Also I don't really know what's the difference between the two sketches?
The second one is a lot worse, the proportions on the human are entirely wrong and it actually kind of looks creepy, which is the exact opposite of what I was going for
not only that but I also ran into a problem with the dragon, nothing I did could make him not look ridiculously disproportionate and stupid
he doesn't draw as much as he wants to
seems to support my point
oh my god
I can't just sit around and doodle all day anymore, I have daily obligations that keep me from doing the things I enjoy, it's called growing up
why is that concept so hard to grasp
