Oh stuff Donnie it's cool that you developed the sketch further, I like the flat colors a lot. The arms seem weirdly positioned though.

Well that thing is kinda more difficult to do in digital but you could just overlay multiple Color/Colorize/Color Burn(Maybe not) layers.
Here's a otherwise poor example, though I am not sure why did I added those horizontal lines anymore, and I ended up using brushes that are too blurry for this type of thing.

Though I wish I did at least half of a good job as that.
I might try replicating some more parts such as the lines and roman letters into something but iunno for now it's like 3 AM.
