why? if you're using paint.net, it's no different than doing it without

Unless you make a layer below the outlines for coloring and have outlines thick enough that you can erase below them without making the coloring around the outlines look messed up

I have separate layers for the outlines and the coloring when I draw. Like srsly if there were an add-on to Photoshop that added a new layer every time you drew a line, I would probably use it, it's so nice to have everything on separate layers.
