Honestly not very admirable. Major issues are perspective on the lettering, incomplete coloring, and poor outlining.

If you mean that the self-bump is not very admirable, I agree. At the time I posted it though, I was annoyed by the arguing folks after my original post. I am sorry, and very ashamed of myself for stooping so low. /sadface

Moving on.

First off, cut me a little slack, would yah? I only just recently starting sketching again after about five years of down time (and I was never really any good back then anyway). Also, as for the perspective, I know it's a little off; but considering it's grafitti-style artwork, I'm perfectly ok with that. I also stopped there with the coloring/outlining to give it a "rustic" or "worn" sort of feel. I'll have you know I'm working on a fully colored version now; plus, it really doesn't help that I don't have an electronic drawing pad, and have to use a mouse. Keep in mind that ALL the coloring is done in Photoshop, so without a sketching tablet, as well as having to work around/over all the "unnecessary" lines and markings, work is slow (and I really wanted to get something up on this topic soon).

He gave you a straightforward observation that a lot of us can agree with. It's called Criticism and we're not crucifying you for it. Taking the slightest offense to that can eventually send you into a flying rage. I hope you don't have to type that defensively every time someone tells you something they think is weird or ill-proportioned. We don't know how many years of "down time" you've had, and don't expect us to. You post here, you've opened up the drawing for criticism.

those rocks

they are absolutely glorious

Oh, I know, don't worry (wow, it really is hard to explain stuff through text alone). I'm not taking anything he said the wrong way; it's just the way it was typed up seemed a bit harsh to me, but maybe I'm wrong. I also added all that extra stuff in there because I felt I hadn't explained myself well enough before. I hope I didn't cause to much confusion. :/

Oh, and BTW, I don't rage. Too laid back for that kinda crap. :)

there should be a drawing thread where criticism isn't allowed
it'll sort out the boys from the MEN

Yay! You posted the full picture!

...And it looks like a world of bossome.

Er, what? I'm really not sure how much sense this makes...

But if you want to try it, by all means go ahead. Although it might be hard to make a topic in which people don't criticize... Silly people...  :cookieMonster:

i've drawn so many rocks that i can do them like that from memory now, which is very cool. Anyone can be good at art if they put in some hours, if you ask me.

unaware of that term but OKEY DOKEY

Alright then. Just take that as a warning. Not a threatening one, but be wary.

More masculine Aremac because I forget that he really is male sometimes.

I think I forgeted up proportions or perspective whatever on legs. (Left hand looks a bit weird too...)

It's done, finally.

thanks for the thoughts, guys :)

Dam niga, dad som reelistic shiz rite der

Waiting for the Tesla seal of approval (hue), but I fixed some of the oversight details and did final line work for the background buildings and some shadow casting up front. Also bumped up the saturation so more of the shading details popped out more.

She feels somewhat different granted. Her hair bugs me I should say.

Other than that I guess its passable, needs some touching up in some major areas but at least it's identifiable as human.

Did you even look at a road before you drew that?  Because I assure you it doesn't look like that. And in the city, it would be a double solid yellow stripe, if there were even a stripe at all (there sometimes isn't on city roads). A dotted yellow line means two way traffic that you can pass other cars by going into the opposing lane.
Also roads are usually dark to medium gray.
Also you still need to fix the sidewalk lines and the bricks.
