If you don't have a tablet and still want to draw by hand/color with the computer, then draw it with pencil or pen or something and then trace over it or do a selection and fill in photoshop and have all of your linework be on one transparent layer. That's the best way I can think of to do it.
Not criticizing that drawing at this point, just giving you a suggestion of how to get around not having a drawing tablet.
Thanks for the tip, I might try that. Currently, though, I'm just tracing over my lines in black and then filling in the spaces. Hopefully I can get a tablet soon, though...
Now that I look at it more, the original sketch looks better than the "colored" version; guess that's what I get trying to color in Photoshop for the first time. Hopefully the final product will look better. (I'll get on finishing that over Christmas break, so don't die or anything before them; I'd still like you to critique my work!) Ah, critique; such a gentle word in comparison to criticize. I like it much better, don't you?
