It's a tail guard and it works like a bracelet. :D

i never meant for your artwork to get overshadowed, however it has happened tons of times to me

if it makes you feel any better i thought it was very nice, good shadow work, though it could've been blended a bit better( i know that's one of the best partsw about working with charcoal, blending!)
