Like that large dial on her upper chest right under her shoulder is a quick-release dial in case she ends up in deep water and can't swim up, or if she's trapped in an inferno and could risk burning alive in her armor
Her neck protection is suspended from her actual body as it'll allow better mobility when looking around, and will absorb more shock to prevent her neck from snapping from shock
Most of the holes in her armour plates are there to allow adjustment of the plates and where they are attached to the straps
