what mean by this

Instead of a flesh tone, Maybe all shades of pink? maybe all green. similar to some DOS screens, just my opinion. It does look pretty good, I adore the Dotty texture.
(I was going to call it hatching but that doesn't sound right..)

the colouration was an homage to Fauux, and i just used his colourscheme with a little tweaking
actually, he normally uses two colours only, i cheated by darkening the pink a little when it should all be flesh or pink with dot matrices for shading

it's mostly the result of trying to quickly edit an image that i'd already rasterized and not saved a pdn of
