I didn't mean to bash him, that was just going to happen on its own for obvious reasons. I merely meant to offer a reason (to your post) as to why he took them down.
He could totally stand for a little criticism though.
Besides, I'm not an amazing artist and have never tried to be one, so I can't really give him the advice he needs to improve the quality of his art.
If I had to say anything, it'd be to make the eyes look like actual eyes instead of gumballs and shape the bodies to look, well, normal.
(also the heads are a little top-heavy, but that could just be a stylistic thing)
